This Privacy Policy explains how Wride Ventures LLC ("Wride Ventures," "we," "us," or "our") handles information across our website and the applications we operate, including Storyplease. We build products people pay for, which means we don't run an advertising business and we don't sell personal data.

Information we collect

Depending on the product and how you use it, we may collect:

• Account information — such as your email address, used to create and secure your account.
• Content you create — information you choose to add to a product in order to use it, such as names, ages, and details you enter to personalize content.
• Usage and device data — basic technical information (for example, browser type, general location, and product interactions) that helps us keep the service reliable and secure.
• Payment information — when you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve our products, personalize the experience you ask for, process payments, provide support, keep our services safe, and communicate with you about your account.

AI processing

Some of our products use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Google) to generate content you request. Where this applies, the details you provide are sent to those providers through their commercial APIs solely to produce your content, with model training and data-feedback options disabled in our provider settings. We don't use your personal content to train AI models.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, payment processing, and AI generation), and only as needed to provide the service — or when required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You can delete content you've added, or request deletion of your account, at any time by contacting us. When you delete your account, we remove your associated personal data except where we're required to retain it.

Children's privacy

Our products are designed to be used by adults (such as parents), not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Content involving family members is entered and controlled by the adult account holder.

Your choices and rights

You can access, update, or delete your information, and you can contact us to exercise any privacy rights available to you under applicable law. We'll respond to reasonable requests.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
